On the plus side, it performs supremely well with no loading times or noticeable graphical issues. You also can't transfer your save file over from the vanilla version which is a bit disappointing, especially because I just did in the awesome Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered.
Unfortunately, this Special Edition doesn't fix any of these issues but it does look great like I said.

I just want to play the darn game you know, like you can on the good ol' Super NES. I honestly can't stand being forced to tweak all sorts of sliders and read pages of text full of acronyms and jargon simply to adjust the visual settings. It also makes me wonder why games nowadays can't just look as good as possible right out of the gate. That being said, I had to play with the options to get it to not look dim and washed out but after I did that, I was quite impressed with how incredible it looks on PS5.
